Living and learning together

Our all-day school is much more than just a place for lessons. At Schule am Pulvermaar, children spend their day in a community in which learning, movement, creativity and togetherness are in balance. Whether at lunch together, during learning and homework time, playing in the schoolyard or in one of our study groups - we create spaces in which children feel comfortable, discover new things and can develop their strengths.

Teachers and staff accompany the children's learning, playing and socializing together from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Time for development and unfolding

A clearly structured daily routine with alternating phases of lessons, learning times and free time ensures a natural rhythm. Our teachers and staff aim to respond to each child individually - encouraging talents, closing learning gaps and strengthening motivation. This creates a school day that not only imparts knowledge, but also allows children to grow as individuals.

Learning with heart and balance

When the pupils go home in the afternoon, the school day is really over - homework has already been completed. In the supervised learning times, the children practise and consolidate what they have learned under the guidance of their teachers. This takes the pressure off families and creates space for time together, hobbies and relaxation. Our all-day school thus combines education and quality of life - with head, heart and hand.
