What does the transition coach do?
The coach provides individual support with

  • Career orientation & strengths analysis

  • Information about occupational fields and companies

  • Support in the search for internships and apprenticeships

  • Application training & preparation for job interviews

  • Communication training & social skills

  • Preparation for the block internship and the practical day

The project is carried out in close cooperation with teachers, school social work, the employment agency and parents.

SamS - Pupils working with pupils / Dispute resolution

Our school has been running the "SamS - Schüler arbeiten mit Schülern" project for over 16 years.
Here, pupils in Years 8 and 9 are trained as mediators and learning coaches.

During the training, they learn

  • Resolve conflicts non-violently and independently

  • Help younger pupils with school-related issues

  • to take responsibility

  • Strengthen communication and social skills

The training lasts one school year and ends with a certificate that recognizes the special social commitment of the participants.

Bus sponsors

When the buses leave at lunchtime, our bus sponsors take on responsibility for good relations.
These dedicated pupils from Years 9 and 10 ensure order and safety at the bus stops and during the journey.

They help the younger children in particular, ensure calm and mediate in the event of conflicts.
At the beginning of each school year, all bus mentors receive training to prepare them for their task and are awarded a certificate for their commitment at the end of the school year.

The bus mentor project has been running at our school for over ten years - a strong sign of responsibility and community.
